This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Oversee all regional launch planning and implementation activities to ensure successful market entry and ongoing product adoption.
• Convert national brand strategies into actionable regional business plans and field execution priorities.
• Direct the team to meet or surpass sales objectives, market share goals, and key performance indicators during launch and thereafter.
• Assess market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to adapt strategies in real-time.
• Foster accountability for performance through data-driven decision-making and disciplined execution.
• Recruit, onboard, nurture, and retain high-performing territory managers throughout the region.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of approximately 8–12 territory managers.
• Establish and maintain a high level of expertise in disease states, clinical knowledge, and product information.
• Build and sustain relationships with key healthcare providers, health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and strategic accounts.
• Collaborate closely with Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, Operations, and HR to ensure launch readiness and execution.
• Ensure all regional activities are executed in full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech sales.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a district/regional manager position.
• Proven track record of leading specialty sales teams and exceeding performance targets.
• Prior launch experience is required; experience with first-launch/startup biotech is strongly preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular, nephrology, hypertension, or related specialty markets is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop top talent.
• Strong skills in business planning, analytics, and coaching.
• Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
