This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.
• Oversee the Regional Field Sales team and handle the overall sales and technical management of the designated sales area.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate a high-caliber team.
• Promote professional excellence through coaching and performance management.
• Evaluate and provide justifications for the hiring of sales personnel and their geographic assignments.
• Cultivate relationships with roofing contractors and assess their needs for company inventory or distributor collaborations.
• Ensure that all roofing contractors receive thorough training on commercial application techniques and specifications.
• Respond to customer complaints swiftly and uphold professional communication across various channels.
• Analyze market trends and provide strategic executive summaries to senior management.
• Bachelor’s Degree with over 5 years of sales leadership experience in the building materials sector OR a High School Diploma with over 10 years of sales leadership experience in the building materials sector.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel overnight 50% of the time.
• Ability to mentor, guide, and inspire a high-performing sales team.
• Extensive technical and professional knowledge in the roofing sector.
• Strong proficiency in Google Business Suite; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
• Highly motivated and energetic, capable of delivering impactful presentations to large audiences.
• Outstanding organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity for independent task management.
• Proven history of establishing strong business relationships and following through on key initiatives.
