
Regional Sales Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead and develop the regional field sales team.
• Establish goals and objectives for regional support functions.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to assess sales requirements and maintain awareness of market trends and competitive activities.
• Engage with key clients and/or purchasing groups to ensure satisfaction and pinpoint future opportunities.
• Create and implement processes for collecting, monitoring, and sharing competitive insights from the field.
• Address daily customer complaints and resolve customer service challenges.
• Formulate annual and monthly sales budgets, oversee field sales team performance, and respond to risks and opportunities.
• Evaluate and track outcomes against specified key vendor budgets to achieve move-out goals.
• Work with fellow leaders to foster a collaborative team atmosphere and execute sales and marketing initiatives and priorities.
• Determine training needs for the field sales team and coordinate instructional efforts with the Learning and Development department.
• Partner with Territory Managers on strategic solutions, house brands, category management, and vendor consolidation strategies.
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, pharmacy, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is required.
• Over 10 years of experience in field sales, territory management, or a similar area is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role is required.
• Exceptional presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to sell.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
• Capability to develop and lead a regional field sales team.
• Competence in setting goals and objectives for regional support roles.
• Ability to identify sales needs and stay informed about market conditions and competitive activities.
• Skill in establishing processes for gathering, monitoring, and sharing competitive information.
• Proficiency in creating sales budgets and evaluating field sales performance.
• Ability to recognize training requirements for the field sales team and coordinate training efforts.
