This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Achieve objectives in Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, and Pricing in accordance with agreed retail priorities across all principals.
• Continuously improve sales coverage and productivity within the Retail Selling Organization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies throughout the Retail Selling Organization.
• Actively engage and collaborate with supervisors and principals on significant initiatives such as new product launches and contests.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers in operations to assist Business Managers in meeting principals' goals.
• Take on the role of trainer for team members, lead projects, and manage important accounts.
• Serve as the primary operations liaison for the Customer Business Team.
• Organize thematic merchandising events that involve multiple departments.
• Provide guidance to General Managers and Business Managers regarding operational issues and the performance of both full-time and part-time team members.
• Assist Business Managers and cross-functional resources in articulating customer needs, objectives, and future strategies.
• Manage regional reporting and tracking requirements to maintain consistency and control.
• Utilize technology, including RW3, to convey retail priorities and assess coverage.
• Review retail condition data reports to enhance in-store presence outcomes.
• Foster the personal development of Unit Managers and oversee the creation of annual Performance Agreements. Supervise the training and development of both full-time and part-time representatives.
• Understand and enhance the selling effectiveness of the Retail Sales Organization while identifying areas for improvement.
• Conduct recruitment of Retail Associates, maintain incident records, and carry out personnel auto inspections.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of five years of prior retail management experience, along with food broker and set responsibility experience, is required. Previous supervisory experience is also necessary.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and sales capabilities. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is essential.
• Communication: Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Technical Skills: Competence in operating a calculator, fax machine, telephone, paper cutter, copier, hand tools, hand truck, and pallet jack.
• Licensing: A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to drive a vehicle for extended durations.
• Environmental Conditions: Must be willing and capable of working in extremely cold environments (e.g., refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores).
