This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.
• Serve as a representative of Sunway University, collaborating with its International Recruitment Office on recruitment and conversion initiatives in Nigeria.
• Assist in all phases of the international student recruitment process while upholding best practices and maintaining the confidentiality of university data.
• Engage in both online and in-person recruitment and outreach activities targeting prospective students, parents, and counselors.
• Identify and execute strategies to improve international institutional partnerships within designated regions of Nigeria.
• Provide precise information and guidance to students and education agents.
• Advise students and follow up on offer acceptances, additional documentation, and admission-related issues.
• Address inquiries from prospective students and parents, supporting them throughout the application journey.
• Utilize the CRM system to identify and nurture assigned leads and applicants.
• Establish connections with stakeholders in Nigeria's education sector.
• Represent the university at educational events, trade shows, conferences, webinars, and virtual gatherings.
• Participate in social media initiatives and online training.
• Assist with both online and offline events and information sessions.
• Support the creation of localized content and promotions, and maintain databases for post-event follow-up.
• Compile data on interested students and submit activity outcome reports to the university.
• Collaborate with internal teams on administrative matters.
• Conduct online research, gather market intelligence, manage information, and update databases.
• Monitor project expenses and operate within the allocated budget.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders and keep current on market information.
• Develop and sustain key contact lists, providing reports at agreed intervals.
• Document information regarding recruitment events and campaigns, project progress, leads, and CRM interactions.
• Possess a first degree level of education.
• Have experience in student recruitment or a similar field.
• Prior experience in the education sector, ideally in an administrative, managerial, or marketing capacity.
• Ability to perform under pressure and foster relationships across internal and external organizations.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Exhibit high proficiency in English with outstanding written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Maintain a strong attention to detail.
• Display IT literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Have knowledge of the Nigerian Higher Education system.
• Exhibit a collaborative working style.
• Ability to handle high workloads, meet deadlines, and resolve work-related issues.
• Flexibility to work outside regular office hours and/or on weekends.
• Expected to travel frequently due to event participation.
• Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant postgraduate or professional qualification in business or marketing is preferred.
• Overseas study or living experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Malaysian Higher Education system and Malaysia as a study destination is highly desirable.
• Experience in developing marketing campaigns and utilizing social media as a communication tool is a plus.
• Familiarity with higher education systems and issues pertinent to students considering studying abroad.
• Strong planning skills for both strategic and tactical initiatives.
• Proficient in networking and relationship management skills.
• Must have the legal right to work in Nigeria on a full-time basis.
