This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Lead the development, uptake, and implementation of expanded product lending within a specified region.
• Boost regional expanded loan volume by advocating for Guild’s expanded and Non-QM product offerings.
• Enhance expanded product penetration for each Loan Officer through education, scenario analysis, and proactive opportunity identification.
• Collaborate with Branch Managers and Regional Leadership to implement regional growth strategies.
• Act as the main point of contact for guidance, structuring, and positioning of expanded loan products.
• Analyze active loan pipelines to discover Non-QM opportunities beyond traditional agency standards.
• Work with Loan Officers to transition borrowers into expanded solutions when suitable.
• Organize complex income, asset, and credit scenarios, including bank statements, DSCR, asset utilization, and other expanded product programs.
• Conduct training sessions, workshops, webinars, and scenario-based education for Loan Officers, Branch Managers, and support personnel.
• Serve as the regional expert on expanded products and a resource for continuous education and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training materials remain up-to-date.
• Foster relationships with Loan Officers, Branch Managers, Operations, and Underwriting to facilitate seamless execution.
• Provide insights to leadership on market trends, product gaps, competitive analysis, and process enhancements.
• Support producing regions as an extension of field sales and the primary contact for product support.
• Assist Loan Originators in determining appropriate products for individual borrower needs, including Guild programs, wholesale, and referral processes.
• Communicate the strengths, weaknesses, enhancements, and rollout information of product offerings between field teams and headquarters.
• Conduct at least two live presentations each month for the assigned region and identify training needs with the training department.
• Deliver required in-person training for newly hired Loan Officers, LOAs, and Transaction Coordinators on programs, systems, policies, and procedures.
• Provide ongoing training for existing staff.
• Host monthly or as necessary conference calls to address field inquiries.
• Stay informed about internal programs and products and share knowledge throughout the field.
• Collaborate with Branch Managers, the Loan Officer Trainer Manager, and Regional Managers.
• Offer borrowers options and recommendations regarding appropriate loan programs.
• Bachelor’s Degree pertinent to the position or an equivalent, preferred.
• A minimum of five years of experience in the mortgage industry, with proven exposure to expanded products.
• NMLS certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to evaluate and assess loan files and recommend suitable loan products.
• Strong understanding of expanded products, including Bank Statement programs, DSCR/Investor programs, Asset Utilization, Interest-Only and Jumbo, and Non-Agency products.
• Demonstrated ability to educate and influence Loan Officers.
• Experience in reviewing loan scenarios and identifying alternative financing options.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Previous experience as a Non-QM Account Executive, Sales Leader, or Specialty Lending Specialist.
• Established relationships with Loan Officers and Branch Managers within the region.
• Experience in supporting or scaling specialty lending programs at a regional level.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on production.
• Strong skills in pipeline and scenario analysis.
• Exceptional presentation and speaking capabilities.
• Ability to simplify intricate lending concepts.
• Confident presenter and trainer.
• Self-driven, organized, and responsible.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; capable of thriving in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based applications, and third-party software.

• Willingness to travel 5–10% of the time.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday during the business week.
