Regional Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Oversee field operations tasks and assignments as necessary

• Provide guidance in supporting and executing business objectives related to safety, customer service, operations, and enhancing operational efficiency

• Assist struggling locations with recruitment and hiring processes

• Evaluate branch locations to identify and address performance challenges

• Meet with local customer representatives to discuss performance issues

• Manage vehicle maintenance initiatives using approved vendors

• Cultivate relationships with railroad clients

• Foster positive customer relations by meeting with local railroad officials on a weekly basis

• Report any Yard Safety concerns and participate in safety meetings as required

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

• Experience: A minimum of 1+ year in a supervisory or management role

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Proficient in all PTI utilized software, including DriveCam, Trimble, and Crew

• Possess a valid state driver’s license issued by the state of employment

• Have at least 5 years of verifiable driving experience

• Must reside within 30 minutes of the branch location

• Must be capable of reading, writing, and conversing in English

• Must be able to utilize a GPS/Technology System and comprehend roadmaps

• Must maintain a cell phone and keep PTI informed with the current phone number

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and pull up to 15 pounds

• Must be able to climb in and out of the vehicle

• Must be able to bend to inspect the undercarriage of a vehicle and its tires

• Must be able to manually open and close all doors and hatches on the vehicle

• Capability to sit for extended durations while driving, as may be necessary
