This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Oversee field operations tasks and assignments as necessary
• Provide leadership in facilitating and achieving business objectives related to safety, customer service, operations, and enhancing operational efficiency
• Support underperforming locations in their recruiting and hiring efforts
• Aid in managing branch locations that currently lack local management personnel
• Conduct thorough analyses of branch locations to pinpoint and resolve underlying performance issues
• Meet with local customer representatives to discuss performance-related concerns
• Address trip coverage challenges
• Upfit newly acquired vehicles with exterior safety and company identification decals and install required safety equipment
• Install technological hardware in PTI vehicles, including railroad radios, Lytx Drive Cam, and GPS devices
• Collaborate with local PTI managers to coordinate and oversee vehicle maintenance programs using approved vendors and/or performing minor repairs
• Source potential new automotive repair vendors and suppliers
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with each railroad customer
• Inform Corporate management of any changes in railroad conditions that may affect branch demand
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• At least 1+ year of supervisory or management experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with all PTI utilized software, such as DriveCam, Trimble, and Crew
• Possess a valid state driver’s license issued by the state of intended employment
• Have a minimum of 5 years of verifiable driving experience
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the branch location
• Proficient in reading, writing, and conversing in English
• Capable of using a GPS/Technology System and interpreting roadmaps
• Required to maintain a cell phone and keep PTI updated with the current phone number
• Ability to lift and pull weights up to 15 pounds
• Must be able to climb in and out of a vehicle
• Capable of bending to inspect the undercarriage of a vehicle and tires
• Must be able to manually open and close all vehicle doors and hatches
• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving, as required
• Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation
