Regional Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.

📋 Description

• Support underperforming locations in their recruitment and hiring efforts.

• Aid in the management of branch locations that currently lack local management personnel.

• Conduct in-depth analyses of branch locations to pinpoint and rectify underlying performance issues.

• Engage with local customer representatives to discuss and resolve performance-related concerns.

• Address and resolve trip coverage challenges.

• Upfit newly acquired vehicles with exterior safety and company identification decals, as well as install necessary safety equipment.

• Install technological hardware in PTI vehicles, including railroad radios, Lytx DriveCams, and GPS devices.

• Collaborate with local PTI managers to organize and oversee vehicle maintenance programs using approved vendors.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with each railroad customer.

• Inform corporate management of any changes in railroad conditions that may affect the branch's demand.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience is required.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with all PTI software, including DriveCam, Trimble, and Crew, is necessary.

• A valid state driver’s license from the state of proposed employment is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of verifiable driving experience is mandatory.

• Candidates must reside within 30 minutes of the branch location.

• Ability to read, write, and converse in English is essential.

• Must be capable of using a GPS/technology system and interpreting roadmaps.

• Must maintain a cell phone and provide PTI with the current phone number.
