This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the regional P&L and KPIs by effectively executing hospital operations, coaching leaders, and holding them accountable for results while utilizing data and operational discipline to enhance performance.

• Enhance hospital performance by pinpointing growth opportunities, broadening service offerings, and maximizing appointment and capacity utilization.

• Provide training and support to hospital leaders to boost doctor productivity while upholding the highest standards of medical excellence and patient outcomes, ensuring the precision of production data.

• Oversee and implement pricing strategies, discount governance, and fee structures to guarantee fairness, competitiveness, and alignment with business objectives.

• Leverage financial, operational, and medical quality insights to inform decision-making, identify trends, mitigate risks, and achieve sustainable performance enhancements.

• Propel regional financial performance through disciplined cash management, effective budgeting, and optimized labor and inventory control.

• Implement enterprise-designed initiatives (VCA and United in Care) with rigor across hospitals, promoting uniform adoption, minimizing local solutions, and ensuring operational excellence aligned with the network at the hospital level.

• Ensure that hospitals consistently provide outstanding client and associate experiences alongside high-quality medical care by refining workflows, appointment availability, resource allocation, and operational processes.

• Foster operational excellence through regular coaching of hospital leaders, scheduled visits, and performance discussions.

• Exemplify VCA’s mission and The Five Principles of Mars, Inc., establishing the cultural framework for the organization and nurturing a purpose-driven, high-trust environment where teams can excel.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / MBA or DVM or a healthcare-related degree.

• Over 8 years of experience driving multi-unit operational performance with complete P&L responsibility, successfully leading growth in dynamic, matrixed organizations / 10+ Years Preferred.

• High level of digital proficiency with productivity tools, including MS365, utilizing cloud-based solutions to improve communication, planning, and operational execution.

• Strong expertise in data and analytics platforms (Excel, Power BI), with the capability to interpret complex data sets, derive actionable insights, and facilitate data-informed decision-making across multiple sites.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

• Willingness to relocate for career development opportunities.
