This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.
• Formulate and implement the merchant acquisition strategy specific to your region.
• Build and oversee a pipeline of qualified merchant prospects.
• Identify, engage, and secure new merchants through proactive outreach and relationship-focused sales.
• Manage the complete sales process from initial contact to signed contracts and successful onboarding.
• Spot high-value merchant opportunities across a variety of sectors.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure successful merchant launches.
• Promote merchant activation and enhance transaction volume post-launch.
• Establish local partnerships and co-marketing initiatives to expedite merchant acquisition.
• Represent GoBTC Pay at business events, conferences, and networking functions.
• Continuously collect market intelligence and insights on competitors.
• Provide reports on pipeline status, sales forecasts, and commercial performance to leadership.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Merchant Acquisition, or B2B Sales.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring and closing new business opportunities.
• Strong skills in commercial negotiation.
• Experience in selling fintech, payments, SaaS, banking, crypto, or financial products.
• Capability to independently build a sales pipeline.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach.
• Comfortable in a dynamic startup environment.
• Excellent skills in relationship building and communication.
• Established business network within Cyprus.
• Proficient in English.

• Experience working with merchants or enterprise clients.
• Knowledge of payment processing, acquiring, or merchant services.
• Background in crypto or digital assets.
