This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain strategic partnerships with existing and prospective producers of profitable business within the designated marketing area.
• Generate new business opportunities through external sales efforts and marketing initiatives targeting brokers and agents.
• Drive growth in new business submissions and increase gross written premium.
• Create additional business opportunities by engaging in correspondence and participating in trade shows.
• Meet agency registration objectives based on territory.
• Oversee renewal retention and manage existing business portfolios.
• Conduct sales calls and develop enduring client relationships.
• Build relationships with brokers and agents through on-site visits and prompt resolution of issues.
• Maintain an updated database of current and potential producers.
• Keep track of competitor pricing and industry trends.
• Collect utilization review and managed care data to establish stop-loss pricing.
• Monitor producer quote ratios, close ratios, renewal persistency, and loss ratios.
• Adjust marketing strategies and create marketing materials accordingly.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients and liaise with other company departments.
• Adhere to work plans, timelines, and objectives while meeting deadlines.
• Communicate activities, outcomes, and insights to employees and management.
• Identify areas for improvement in business practices and execute work in a cost-effective manner.
• Comply with corporate policies and procedures while reporting any control failures.
• Conduct all activities in a safe manner.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
• At least two years of relevant and progressive professional experience.
• Understanding of applicable principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
• Advanced organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Awareness of industry changes, legal updates, and technical advancements related to the Company's operations.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
• May require possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Possible travel outside the regular work location may be necessary.
• Capable of performing computer-based tasks, including reading from a computer screen and using a keyboard, mouse, and other devices.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, sit for prolonged periods, and lift up to 10 pounds.
