This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 Solutions Specialists tasked with handling the complete cycle of new business at the course and department level.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, field coaching sessions, and joint customer interactions to enhance discovery, demo quality, and closing techniques.
• Foster a culture centered on performance, accountability, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
• Assist the team in developing and implementing disciplined, data-driven territory strategies.
• Guarantee the creation of a high-quality pipeline and ensure consistent movement through the sales funnel.
• Evaluate opportunity strategies and offer actionable insights on positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
• Collaborate with Solutions Specialists on high-potential or complex opportunities, providing coaching and tactical assistance.
• Work together with Customer Success to ensure that adoption considerations are integrated early in the sales cycle.
• 5–7+ years of experience in sales, education, or EdTech roles with a proven track record of strong new business performance.
• 1–3+ years of experience in team leadership, coaching, or mentoring, whether formal or informal.
• Proven ability to coach sales professionals in discovery, value-based selling, demos, and closing techniques.
• Strong understanding of consultative sales processes and competitive displacement tactics.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce is preferred), data analysis, and territory planning.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to campuses, regional meetings, and events as required.
