This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Direct oversight of EMS Territory Managers within a designated region of the country.
• Uphold a positive demeanor while maintaining objectivity.
• Surpass regional sales targets for both hardware and disposable products as well as total revenue.
• Manage discounts and expenses to enhance ZOLL’s profitability.
• Recruit, train, retain, and advance skilled sales professionals.
• Cultivate a collaborative team atmosphere within your region.
• Communicate, execute, and oversee the EMS Strategic Plan.
• Develop Territory Managers through coaching and positive reinforcement.
• Dedicate an average of three days per week in the field alongside your Territory Managers.
• Establish expectations for the Territory Managers and evaluate their performance accordingly.
• Understand, manage, and refresh your regional book of business to ensure all Territory Managers meet their quotas.
• Ensure Territory Managers submit necessary reports, which include but are not limited to, weekly expense reports, monthly and quarterly forecasts, along with regular and updated activity reports.
• Ensure that Territory Managers deliver the required in-service education to clients.
• Ensure that Territory Managers conduct appropriate technical scope reviews prior to sales.
• Oversee that Territory Managers maintain and track demo and evaluation inventory, documenting its use in Salesforce.com.
• Serve as a company expert and resource on both ZOLL and competitive products.
• Master the Miller Heiman Conceptual and Strategic Selling skills and integrate these concepts into your opportunity management with each Territory Manager in your region.
• Accountable for field reinforcement of product positioning strategies.
• Represent ZOLL professionally and ethically.
• Lead by example, motivating and inspiring your team.
• Foster open communication and share information with others.
• Analyze and report on trends observed within your region.
• College degree preferred.
• 5 to 10+ years of experience in sales and/or sales management required.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Ability to engage in strategic planning.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Familiarity with ZOLL and competitive positioning strategies.
