Regional Machine Safety Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee machine risk evaluations and develop mitigation strategies.

• Provide training to enhance safety awareness across various teams.

• Establish safety standards throughout operations and projects.

• Conduct incident investigations and formulate corrective action plans.

• Assist in emergency response and containment efforts.

• Promote continuous enhancement of machine safety procedures.

• Offer technical expertise for capital projects and upgrades.

• Create preventive maintenance plans for machinery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in machine safety, risk assessment, or maintenance.

• Familiarity with ANSI and ISO machine safety standards.

• Capability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system schematics.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing abilities.

• Certification (ANSI or TÜV) or a willingness to achieve certification.
