β’ The Regional HR Manager will have a direct reporting line to the Director of Human Resources.
β’ Offer interpretive guidance concerning company policies and governmental regulations while ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local laws, departmental budgets, and company policies and procedures.
β’ Provide advice to managers regarding human resources policies and procedures as necessary.
β’ This role will involve some travel and supervision of multiple plants.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree or equivalent relevant experience; PHR/SPHR certification is advantageous.
β’ A minimum of five (5) years of comprehensive experience in Human Resources.
β’ Experience with grievance procedures, either from a management perspective or as part of a union committee.
β’ Union and contract negotiation experience, whether as a participant or a member of the union committee/negotiation team.
β’ Familiarity with arbitration, Wage/Hour hearings, and Unemployment hearings.
β’ Experience in providing support to business and staff functions, including sales and finance.
β’ Ability to unify groups with diverse viewpoints towards a common consensus.
β’ Proven capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
β’ Proficient in interacting with external organizations such as the NLRB and EEOC.
β’ Understanding of principles and methods related to employee/labor relations, basic compensation, staffing/recruiting, safety, and training and development.
β’ Awareness of various regulatory requirements affecting HR, including EEO, Affirmative Action, ADA, etc.

β’ Responsible for collaborating with managers and employees to coordinate employee and labor relations initiatives.
