Regional Human Resources Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic HR partner for directors and regional teams that support conservation initiatives.

• Align HR strategies with the organization’s mission, core values, and long-term conservation objectives.

• Assist leaders in fostering engaged, high-performing teams across various environments, including field operations.

• Provide counsel on employee relations issues, with an awareness of cultural and regional differences.

• Oversee HR operations throughout the Americas, including onboarding, offboarding, and HR systems management.

• Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations in the U.S., Latin America, Canada, and other regional jurisdictions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a non-profit, NGO, or mission-driven setting.

• Experience supporting teams across multiple countries in the Americas.

• Understanding of employment laws and HR practices in the U.S. and Latin America.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, in writing and verbally, in professional and business settings.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States or Costa Rica.
