• In the role of Manager, Human Resources, you will contribute to the development of organizational planning by leveraging a comprehensive understanding of business needs.
• You will adopt a consultative approach when engaging with managers on business and personnel matters, providing leadership in HR projects related to policy revisions and other employee programs.
• Your role will involve advising managers on all facets of leadership and employee/labor relations, helping to cultivate a top-tier organizational culture.
• You will spearhead projects, monitor project objectives and tasks, report on advancements, make recommendations, and assist with implementation.
• You will guarantee the consistent and fair application of organizational policies and procedures throughout a functional area or location.
• You will lead and implement talent initiatives, acting as a change agent to foster the growth and development of our workforce.
• In collaboration with Operations and HR partners, you will plan and facilitate talent planning, performance reviews, career development, employee growth, inclusion, diversity, and engagement initiatives.
• You will work alongside Operations and HR partners to strategically create and implement plans aimed at reducing turnover in high-turnover positions and markets.
• You will be responsible for developing and deploying suitable resources and tools to create an environment free of discrimination and harassment by proactively measuring employee engagement, turnover, and compliance with all relevant federal, state, and municipal laws.
• You will provide support and coaching to management as they formulate and act on their individual development plans.
• You will facilitate and support succession planning, performance management, performance planning, and other corporate-driven talent management and HR initiatives.
• You will serve as the subject matter expert in supporting employee investigations.
• You will independently address and resolve employee relations issues, collaborating with the Sr Manager, HRBP, Operations, Centers of Excellence, and legal teams when necessary.
• You will assist local leaders in talent acquisition efforts as required and directed by the Talent Acquisition Manager and HR Business Partner.
• You will ensure that markets and shops maintain a work environment that fosters a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
• You will oversee the escalation and resolution of HR inquiries, issues, and requests to the appropriate channels (e.g., HR COE, FreshService, etc.), modeling the championing of the field HR model.
• You will design and implement innovative people programs that inspire and support a culture of high performance.
• You will support a high-performing, cohesive, and collaborative team focused on growth.
• You will provide Human Resources support as necessary for all acquisitions within the designated division.
• Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred strongly.
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in operations leadership, organizational development, human resources, recruiting, or related fields.
• Experience providing field support in a multi-site/location setting.
• Previous experience in creating or implementing a people strategy for hourly/salaried workforces.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Advanced skills in Google Workspace (formerly G-Suite).
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong facilitation and project management capabilities.
• A proven history of establishing effective relationships across all organizational levels.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to see the bigger picture and operate with perspective.
• Flexibility in availability to support business operations, which may occasionally require evening and weekend hours.
• Reasonable access to an airport.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes, both within and outside the state.
