This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Collaborate with regional executives to outline workforce strategies that facilitate regional growth.
• Offer change management assistance during organizational transitions and market entry initiatives.
• Serve as a direct communication link between Global HQ HR and local regional teams.
• Provide data-informed people insights to regional leaders to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Develop tailored talent acquisition strategies for executive and high-impact sales leadership positions.
• Oversee regional succession planning to maintain robust leadership pipelines for emerging markets.
• Conduct annual regional talent assessments and create focused upskilling initiatives.
• Facilitate competitive onboarding experiences that are customized to regional specifics.
• Implement standardized corporate appraisal systems that are adapted to local market realities.
• Mentor regional country managers on performance enhancement and effective feedback mechanisms.
• Foster a high-performance culture that aligns with Tiens Group’s values and direct-selling business model.
• Manage employee engagement programs aimed at reducing cross-border turnover rates.
• Track local labor law changes across all designated countries to minimize legal risks.
• Address complex employee relations issues, grievances, and local compliance disputes.
• Provide guidance on standard compensation adjustments and the localization of corporate benefit programs.
• Bachelor's degree in law, Human Resources, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 3 years as a Regional HRBP.
• Previous experience in a multinational corporation (MNC) or regional headquarters with matrix reporting structures.
• Experience in the direct selling, FMCG, healthcare, or retail sectors is highly desirable.
• Multilingual proficiency: Professional fluency in English and at least one additional major language of the designated region is required; proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese is a distinct advantage.
• Comprehensive understanding of labor law frameworks within the designated region.
• Proven success in managing cross-cultural teams and executing stakeholder management from a distance.
• Strong data literacy with experience utilizing AI tools for workflow efficiency.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 20% of the time, depending on business requirements.
