This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Lead the regional plants in financial analysis and partner services while ensuring adequate controls for compliance with financial policies.
• The Finance Director delivers financial leadership to support business decision-making and innovative planning, managing the region’s financial matters to enhance long-term profitability, cash flow, and overall returns for HCA stakeholders.
• Responsible for evaluating operating outcomes in relation to costs, budgets, operational policies, trends, and identifying opportunities for increased profits while utilizing HCA’s accounting and control services to maximize team efforts.
• Oversee all operational domains impacting the business, including Planning and Forecasting, Asset Management, Manufacturing/Costing, and necessary ad hoc analysis.
• Collaborate proactively with business management to establish and oversee the strategic direction and financial objectives, driving significant results.
• Analyze operating results regarding their impact on the financial aspects of the business and provide specific recommendations aimed at cost reduction and profit enhancement.
• Direct the creation of statistics for periodic and annual financial metrics, including the generation of charts and graphs to illustrate key performance metrics, conditions, and outcomes.
• Offer financial analysis and support to the business, covering capital expenditure justification and analysis, sales trend evaluation, and customer/product P&L assessments.
• Aid in the coordination and thoroughness of the Strategic Plan and Budget Plan processes by identifying key issues, objectives, risks, and opportunities.
• Recognize best practices and opportunities for continuous improvement, facilitating the integration of these practices within the organization.
• Provide direct supervision to team members, promoting their development to maximize their potential through individual coaching, training, career advancement, and preparing them for increased responsibilities.
• Participate in travel as required by the CFO or Regional Operations Director.
• Complete ad hoc projects as needed.
• Perform any other projects or tasks assigned by Management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and/or MBA are preferred.
• A minimum of Ten (10) years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting, is required.
• At least Five (5) years of prior management experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment, is required.
• Demonstrates initiative, commitment, and technical proficiency.
• Proficient in computer systems skills, including MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Knowledge of SAP and IFS is required, and familiarity with similar ERP software is also preferred.
• Understanding of ERP systems architecture is necessary.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Strong cooperation and collaboration skills are a must.
• Proven organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of concentration, attention to detail, energy, self-motivation, and self-reliance.
• Ability to engage effectively with all personality types.
• Capable of handling personal and confidential information.
