Regional EHS Manager – Global Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary regional EHS leader for North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.

• Act as the global program owner for governance related to site security.

• Promote regional workplace safety and create a proactive framework for regulatory compliance.

• Standardize site security measures and reduce operational risks to safeguard employees, assets, and facilities.

• Lead the implementation and ongoing enhancement of EHS programs throughout North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.

• Collaborate with operational leaders to enhance safety practices and address critical risks.

• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, workplace evaluations, and market visits.

• Oversee incident investigations utilizing an established framework.

• Manage corrective action processes to avoid recurrence of issues.

• Offer safety coaching and structured engagement in the field for operational leaders.

• Administer and support internal programs, including training and safety initiatives, from development to execution.

• Assist in tracking global metrics and project completion.

• Coordinate the tracking of occupational health, safety, environmental, and permitting requirements across relevant markets.

• Implement proactive compliance reviews, audit schedules, and frameworks for regulatory readiness.

• Manage interactions with regulatory bodies, including engagements, submissions, and compliance activities.

• Oversee daily management of global physical site-security governance, encompassing standards, assessments, reporting, and follow-up mechanisms.

• Develop, implement, and sustain global physical site-security standards and controls across facilities.

• Conduct risk assessments related to site security.

• Supervise security incident reporting, trend analysis, and response protocols.

• Collaborate with Facilities, IT, Legal, HR, and Operations to identify control weaknesses, align improvements, and ensure implementation is tracked to closure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in environmental, health, and safety initiatives, campaigns, research, communications, large-scale project management, and regulatory submissions.

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is mandatory.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

• Experience in hyper-growth startups, fleet/mobility operations, or multi-site distribution/warehousing environments is preferred.

• Professional Safety or Security Certifications (such as CSP, CIH, CPP, or regional equivalents) are advantageous.

• Familiarity with ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 implementation is preferred.

• Knowledge of Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is an asset.

• Multilingual capabilities, with Spanish preferred for oversight in Latin America.
