This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +11 more states.
β’ Direct oversight of Access Case Managers
β’ Act as the direct supervisor for all regional ACMs
β’ Manage and guide ACM implementation as field-based access leaders
β’ Establish and uphold performance standards aligned with national KPIs
β’ Conduct regular field visits, provide call coaching, performance evaluations, and individual development discussions
β’ Oversee regional budget management, including headcount planning, travel expenditures, and program resources in accordance with national guidelines
β’ Mentor and hold ACMs accountable for leading the complete patient journey
β’ Advocate for the approved consent enrollment model and promote ongoing enhancements in enrollment efficiency
β’ Develop and maintain team-level reimbursement competence across the regional payer landscape
β’ Direct the regional account-level access strategy
β’ Collaborate with compliance and legal teams as necessary to ensure all ACM operations are performed within established guidelines
β’ Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD) is preferred
β’ At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical field operations, patient services, reimbursement, or access/hub management
β’ A minimum of 3β5+ years of experience in people management, leading, coaching, or developing field-based access, reimbursement, patient services, hub-facing, or customer-facing teams
β’ Direct experience with specialty pharmacy, hub programs, or patient support services in a regulated setting
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of the access and reimbursement landscape, including benefits investigation, prior authorization, step edits, appeals, payer policies, coverage pathways, specialty pharmacy fulfillment, and insurance coverage processes
β’ Familiarity with medical and pharmacy billing including CPT, HCPCS/J-codes, ICD-10, NDC, and Medicare Part B buy-and-bill
β’ Proven ability to cultivate reimbursement subject matter expertise within a team and convert payer policy, patient access data, and field insights into regional action strategies
β’ Demonstrated capability to lead through influence across cross-functional teams
β’ Valid US driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
