This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Oversee operational and marketing initiatives for the region to optimize sales and profitability.
• Formulate and execute tactical strategies that align with strategic and annual objectives.
• Build and sustain an organization capable of managing regional stores to achieve sales, margin, expense, and profit targets.
• Offer guidance and support to District Managers and store personnel on operational, marketing, and employee relations matters.
• Evaluate sales and gross-margin strategies for regional stores.
• Execute merchandising initiatives in collaboration with Category Managers and Marketing teams.
• Partner with the Training Department to deploy associate training and personnel development programs.
• Oversee the condition and appearance of regional physical assets, including facilities and company vehicles.
• Supervise the control of cash, inventory, and other regional resources.
• Assess associate quality at all levels within the region.
• Maintain or surpass customer service standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
• Implement operational procedures specific to the region.
• Recommend and evaluate loss-prevention initiatives in conjunction with Loss Prevention and Operational Excellence.
• Review building maintenance strategies with District Managers, Construction teams, and the VP of Operations.
• Manage the regional performance and salary review process, including conducting evaluations for District Managers.
• Assess and suggest store rebuilds, remodels, and other asset enhancement projects.
• Review and authorize routine staying-in-business and minor project enhancement initiatives.
• Coordinate and advise on gasoline retail pricing alongside the Fuel Director.
• Keep an updated succession plan.
• Proven ability to create gross-profit plans.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Robust supervisory abilities.
• Capability to develop personnel.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Prior experience in supervisory roles and store management/District Manager positions.
• 10–12 years of progressive experience in retail store operations.
• Marketing experience, ideally within a convenience store context.
