This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Deliver strategic direction and vision to 13–17 veterinary hospital locations.
• Maintain exceptional customer service and quality-of-care standards across all hospitals.
• Adhere to medical and non-medical standards while ensuring compliance with legal and policy requirements.
• Guarantee safe, clean, and organized hospital environments.
• Integrate new partner hospitals into the CVP framework.
• Cultivate business relationships with Practice Managers and Lead and Associate Doctors.
• Enhance revenue, inventory, purchasing, labor, and expense metrics.
• Oversee P&L management and deliver monthly outcome reports to the Core Leadership team.
• Formulate remediation strategies for underperforming results.
• Supervise facility improvement initiatives.
• Analyze hospital performance and financial metrics.
• Meet profitable growth targets within the designated region.
• Develop fiscal, strategic, and clinical processes in collaboration with hospitals.
• Execute marketing strategies to drive hospital revenue growth.
• Assist in identifying acquisition opportunities for additional hospitals.
• Foster leadership skills among Practice Managers and promote a culture of engagement and accountability in hospitals.
• Anticipate staffing needs and collaborate with Talent Acquisition to recruit Doctors and Practice Managers.
• Team up with Human Resources to recruit, mentor, and develop teams.
• Address and resolve employee relations issues effectively.
• Manage scheduling and ensure adequate Doctor coverage.
• Approve continuing education and PTO requests.
• Oversee the development and management of assigned Practice Managers.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field is mandatory, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least eight (8) years of experience in Veterinary Practice/Management is required.
• Ideally, three (3) years or more of multi-location management experience in a service industry role.
• Must reside in the Central PA area.
• Previous experience with Veterinary Practice Management Software is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• High emotional intelligence is essential.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Effective coaching and mentoring skills.
• Competence in change management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Solid financial acumen.
• Proficient time management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively, primarily by car.
• Capability to manage and develop assigned Practice Managers.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
