Regional Director of Event Fundraising

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee all aspects of event fundraising in the Central Florida area.

• Recruit and train new volunteers.

• Supervise volunteer activities that support Ducks Unlimited fundraising events.

• Promote regional expansion, focusing on the development of new chapters.

• Encourage internal growth within established committees.

• Discover and cultivate non-traditional fundraising avenues.

• Identify and manage relationships with major donors.

• Collaborate and coordinate with the Florida fundraising team and volunteers.

• Travel extensively by car across the region.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BA or BS degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Previous volunteer experience with non-profit organizations will be advantageous.

• Experience volunteering with Ducks Unlimited is preferred.

• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of volunteers.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient with personal computers.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications.

• Familiarity with the Internet is expected.

• Capability to develop computer skills related to Ducks Unlimited Inc.’s standardized information systems.

• Self-driven and enthusiastic about achieving challenging objectives.

• Willingness to work hours that extend beyond the typical workday and workweek throughout the year.

• Readiness to engage in extensive travel by automobile within the region.
