This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to enhance revenue growth across the Western United States.
• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business prospects within key accounts, emerging clients, and targeted vertical sectors.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with engineering, procurement, operations, and executive leadership teams.
• Propel design-win activities and revenue growth for semiconductor, embedded, networking, imaging, AI/IoT, and solution offerings.
• Oversee and manage opportunities from initial prospecting through design-win, production, and revenue realization.
• Engage in business and technical discussions with customer engineering teams to uncover opportunities and propose solutions.
• Present customer presentations, conduct business reviews, and deliver solution demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Field Application Engineers on technical assessments, product qualifications, and customer design cycles.
• Partner with Supplier & Solutions Management on business strategies, supplier objectives, and customer opportunities.
• Formulate strategic account plans to enhance wallet share and expand Macnica’s market presence.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive activity, market developments, and emerging technologies.
• Provide market intelligence, customer insights, and sales forecasts to leadership and supplier partners.
• Assist in supplier business reviews, joint customer visits, and executive-level engagements.
• Offer commercial and technical advice to customers throughout the sales process.
• Achieve or surpass revenue, gross profit, design-win, and strategic growth targets.
• Mentor, develop, and manage a team of sales professionals within the designated territory.
• Build executive-level relationships, including connections with C-suite leaders.
• Travel throughout the territory to support customers, suppliers, and business development efforts.
• Proven track record of success in selling semiconductor, electronics, embedded, networking, or technology solutions in a B2B setting.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, technical decision-makers, and executive leadership.
• Demonstrated capacity to develop new business and close intricate, long-cycle sales opportunities.
• Experience in managing strategic accounts and influencing customer purchasing decisions.
• Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor sales cycles, design-win processes, supply chain considerations, and electronic component markets.
• Ability to devise and execute territory growth strategies with minimal oversight.
• Experience collaborating across sales, engineering, product management, and supplier organizations.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and pipeline management abilities.
• Self-driven, highly organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
• Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
• Proven experience in leading, developing, and managing high-performing sales teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
• 8–15 years of experience in semiconductor sales, electronics distribution, technical sales, business development, or strategic account management.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers, manufacturers, and engineering-focused customer organizations.
• Legally authorized to work in the USA without requiring sponsorship at this time.
