Regional Director, K12 Academic Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Consistently surpass quarterly and annual sales booking targets within designated K-12 school districts and educational agencies.

• Create and implement strategic plans to discover, engage, and secure new district partnerships and sales opportunities.

• Personally reach out to and engage senior leaders in K-12 education, including Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Chief Academic Officers, Curriculum & Instruction Leaders, and Technology Directors, to understand their primary challenges and position Dreamscape Learn as a strategic ally in enhancing student engagement and improving learning outcomes.

• Develop and oversee a strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities utilizing Dreamscape Learn’s structured sales methodology and best practices.

• Keep accurate and current records of all sales activities, opportunities, communications, and contacts in Salesforce.com.

• Swiftly follow up on inbound leads and proactively seek new business through direct outreach, cold calling, email campaigns, networking, conference participation, and referrals.

• Clearly communicate and present the Dreamscape Learn value proposition to prospective district and school leaders, delivering engaging presentations and tailored proposals both virtually and in person.

• Cultivate and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Dreamscape Learn’s products, implementation models, and real-world applications within K-12 classrooms.

• Oversee essential sales administrative processes, including preparing pricing estimates, proposals, contracts, and accurate sales forecasts.

• Regularly communicate with the SVP of Academic Partnerships regarding pipeline status, sales performance, district engagement strategies, and competitive insights.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrated success in selling high-value innovative educational technology solutions to senior leadership in the K-12 education sector.

• A strategic thinker capable of analyzing their territory insightfully and developing/executing effective business plans to achieve sustainable new account sales growth.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively engage decision-makers at all levels within the K-12 education sector, including state agencies, school districts, school boards, and teachers.

• Proven track record of gaining access to key decision-makers at senior levels of school districts, including superintendents and curriculum directors.

• Established proficiency in executing a structured sales cycle that includes identification, positioning, qualification, discovery, proposal, contracting, and closing.

• Strong knowledge of the K-12 education market, including an understanding of current trends in teaching/learning and the use of academic technology.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
