This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a team of approximately 30 Planners dedicated to enhancing client acquisition, retention, and generating new asset flows for the Wealth Planning Group.
• Guide, develop, and support Planners to ensure success throughout the sales funnel, maximize client value through our wealth services, and lead their respective practices.
• Set priorities and focus areas while providing timely and accurate performance feedback to the Divisional Vice President and other senior management regarding Planner effectiveness.
• Cultivate and enhance a high-engagement culture that promotes success, morale, and the performance of Planners within the designated territory.
• Collaborate effectively across the organization to ensure an exceptional client experience, while also managing risks and complying with corporate policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the creation and execution of marketing and proactive lead-generation strategies, as well as the development and delivery of training initiatives.
• Work alongside Planners to define personal and professional objectives that align with company goals.
• Regularly present progress reports highlighting key achievements and identifying sales challenges.
• 5-10 years of experience in financial services sales management overseeing a team across a distributed, multi-state territory.
• Over 5 years of direct experience leading a workforce of 10 or more individuals, including responsibilities for hiring, termination, and performance management.
• Proven ability to lead and empower sales personnel.
• In-depth knowledge of financial services, comprehensive financial planning, and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs).
• Demonstrated success in managing the client engagement process, utilizing metrics and feedback to enhance results.
• Familiarity with contact management systems, including reports generated by the system on prospect activities and pipeline, as well as access to client history.
• Proven ability to create and maintain a high-performance culture across practices, customizing engagement strategies to align with diverse goals, growth stages, and specific objectives.
