This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Oversee the growth and development of the regional sales team focused on selling intricate cybersecurity hardware, software, consulting, services, and financing solutions.
• Create a robust sales pipeline that ideally reaches four times the assigned targets.
• Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
• Drive the implementation of Optiv’s Force Management and MEDDICC sales process along with performance management.
• Align client engagement strategies with Optiv’s mission, values, culture, and value proposition.
• Cultivate relationships with Optiv’s Core and Select technology partners.
• Execute marketing campaigns in collaboration with Optiv and vendor partners.
• Work together with Services, Client Operations, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to enhance revenue growth and client satisfaction.
• Identify, refine, and apply best sales practices in partnership with peer Regional Directors across North America.
• Recruit, manage, mentor, and develop cybersecurity sales professionals.
• Accelerate revenue growth and establish strategic relationships within the regional client base.
• Foster executive relationships that position Optiv as the leading provider of security solutions.
• Articulate Optiv’s value proposition related to security services, technologies, expertise, and capabilities.
• Develop and implement territory and strategic account management plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams comprising sales, technical, and support personnel on a dotted-line basis.
• 5–10 years of demonstrated experience managing sales teams in security technology and services.
• Proven history of achieving multi-million-dollar gross-margin quotas.
• Experience in developing sales professionals, improving performance, or managing individuals out of the business.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect business objectives to cybersecurity risks.
• Executive presence and capacity to cultivate executive relationships.
• Proficient in creating and executing territory and strategic account management plans.
• Proven capability to establish productive relationships with key executives and sponsors within assigned accounts.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams of sales, technical, and support personnel in a dotted-line structure.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience in building and selling complex, multi-year hardware, software, services, and financing solutions within Fortune 1000 companies.
• Knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure, risk and compliance markets, and competitive landscapes.
• Background in selling management consulting services.
