This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Create and develop scalable solutions using the AVEVA System Platform tailored for discrete manufacturing settings.
• Develop and manage object-oriented models, templates, and digital twins representing manufacturing assets and production lines.
• Configure and implement AVEVA MES solutions to effectively monitor overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), production performance, cycle times, and operational efficiency.
• Design and deploy AVEVA OMI visualization interfaces, dashboards, and Andon systems for real-time monitoring on the shop floor.
• Set up and oversee the AVEVA Historian for rapid collection, storage, and analysis of manufacturing data.
• Integrate production systems, PLCs, SCADA platforms, MES applications, and ERP systems to facilitate seamless data interchange.
• Develop and support workflows for production order synchronization, inventory tracking, and manufacturing execution.
• Establish and oversee standards for AVEVA graphics, object libraries, deployment methods, and application architecture.
• Analyze production data to pinpoint bottlenecks, reasons for downtime, micro-stops, and opportunities for process enhancement.
• Collaborate with production managers, maintenance teams, automation engineers, and business stakeholders to enhance manufacturing performance.
• Ensure the solutions are scalable, reliable, efficient, and maintainable across various manufacturing sites.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting assistance, architecture evaluations, and suggestions for continuous improvement.
• Over 13 years of total experience.
• In-depth experience with AVEVA System Platform architecture, configuration, development, and administration.
• Practical expertise in AVEVA System Platform object modeling, template creation, deployment, and application development.
• Significant experience with AVEVA MES Performance and Operations for manufacturing execution and OEE monitoring.
• Hands-on knowledge of AVEVA OMI visualization, dashboards, Andon systems, and operational displays.
• Extensive experience with AVEVA Historian configuration, data gathering, and production analytics.
• Proven track record in integrating shop-floor systems, PLCs, SCADA, MES, and ERP platforms within manufacturing settings.
• Strong comprehension of discrete manufacturing processes including Automotive, Packaging, OEM, Machine Building, and Assembly operations.
• Practical experience implementing digital twins for production assets such as Robots, CNC Machines, Conveyors, and Assembly Stations.
• Strong SQL expertise for managing transactional production data, work orders, production tracking, and manufacturing reporting.
• Experience in OT/IT integration, production order synchronization, inventory tracking, and manufacturing data flows.
• Deep understanding of OEE, cycle time optimization, takt time, micro-stop analysis, downtime management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in establishing standards for AVEVA graphics, object templates, and reusable manufacturing frameworks.
• Exceptional problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership abilities.
• Background in roles such as MES Engineer, Industrial Automation Engineer, Manufacturing Systems Engineer, or Solution Architect.
