This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +1 more state.
• Formulate and implement both short-term and long-term business strategies for designated distribution partners in alignment with channel KPIs.
• Evaluate territory prospects, determine account requirements, and cultivate strategic relationships with influential decision-makers.
• Enhance revenue through increased product penetration, heightened parts and service sales, and the discovery of new business opportunities.
• Conduct sales presentations and offer training sessions on products and programs.
• Observe competitive activities within the territory and apply solution-oriented strategies to safeguard and expand market share.
• Assist in promotional initiatives and the launch of new products.
• Organize and implement marketing activities in collaboration with designated accounts and distribution partners.
• Monitor and report on territory performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and drive results.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of field sales experience in two-step distribution.
• Excellent negotiation abilities with the capacity to navigate complex sales processes.
• Analytical mindset capable of interpreting and applying essential business metrics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
• Confident in presenting both individually and in group settings.
• Self-driven and able to work independently in a field-based environment.
• Proven track record of enhancing process improvements within a matrixed organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Experience collaborating with electrical and HVAC wholesale distribution partners, electrical contractors, and HVAC contractors from a partnership and business development perspective.
• Background in power generation or installed equipment sectors.
• Strong commercial and financial insight, with the ability to analyze and interpret key performance metrics.
• Demonstrated capability to establish, nurture, and maintain trusted relationships with regional and national accounts to promote mutual growth, engagement, and long-term loyalty.
• Proven history of achieving and surpassing sales objectives by identifying high-potential accounts, optimizing channel performance, and executing territory growth strategies.
