Regional Coordinator – South-Central

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Advocate for the fire sprinkler sector across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.

• Assist regional chapters while enhancing communication and coordination of member activities.

• Promote NFSA initiatives and training, linking members with NFSA resources.

• Deliver service and support to NFSA chapters throughout the South-Central region.

• Engage with current and prospective members at offices, chapter meetings, conferences, and regional events.

• Maintain communication with members and prospects, emphasizing the value of NFSA membership.

• Connect members with NFSA departments, programs, services, training, technical resources, and support.

• Record member visits, outreach, prospects, and follow-up data in NFSA’s CRM system.

• Ensure the CRM is functional and provides valuable data across NFSA departments.

• Assist with writing articles, blog features, member profiles, and project stories.

• Promote, organize, schedule, support, and evaluate NFSA training seminars and programs.

• Represent NFSA as a speaker, exhibitor, sponsor, or delegate at conferences.

• Identify, schedule, and implement educational opportunities for regional stakeholders.

• Schedule and support the NFSA side-by-side fire sprinkler demonstration trailer.

• Assist the Regional Manager in enhancing member and chapter engagement.

• Support NFSA seminars, conferences, and association-wide events, including marketing and onsite content generation.

• Create monthly email communications, encompassing content organization, article writing, newsletter design, and distribution.

• Monitor activities, deadlines, member follow-ups, and regional priorities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; or an associate degree with pertinent experience in membership organizations, customer relationship management systems, or a related field; or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities with a consistent focus on detail and follow-through.

• Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Capability to take initiative and support high-level objectives with minimal specific guidance.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with NFSA staff, chapter leaders, members, volunteers, and other stakeholders in the region.

• Proficient in working effectively from a home office and willing to travel extensively 50-75% throughout the South-Central region and nationally as required, which may include occasional overnight and weekend travel.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet NFSA travel criteria.

• Preferred residence in Texas (Metropolitan Area) with the capability to travel throughout the South-Central region and familiarity with its business or association community.

• Preferred experience in a membership association, chapter-based organization, nonprofit, or member-service operation.

• Preferred experience using CRM software to document relationships, maintain member details, and track prospective members.

• Preferred experience or exposure to the fire sprinkler, fire protection, construction, fire service, or life-safety industries.

• Preferred experience in coordinating training programs, conferences, chapter meetings, or other events.
