Regional Chief Technology Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical consultant and thought leader for customers and prospects within the region.

• Offer expert advice on IT enterprise architecture, industry best practices, and strategic planning.

• Provide guidance on Oracle and SAP ERP systems, cloud infrastructure, databases, Java, cloud implementations, and data integration.

• Establish credibility with executives to aid sales and account management teams in acquiring new business and enhancing customer relationships.

• Identify opportunities and cultivate trusted-advisor rapport.

• Address technical sales objections and concerns raised by prospects.

• Serve as the regional spokesperson at industry events, conferences, social gatherings, boardroom discussions, and roundtables.

• Raise awareness through educational discussions in various formats.

• Collaborate with marketing to create webinars, articles, white papers, media interviews, and other thought-leadership content.

• Develop educational materials to boost website traffic and interest in company services.

• Work alongside global product management, professional services, marketing, cybersecurity, and other teams as necessary.

• Report directly to the SVP & GM of the Americas region, Global Corporate CTO, and North America General Manager.

• Emphasize advisory roles, relationship building, awareness generation, and opportunity identification; no team management or project execution duties involved.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of extensive technical expertise and advisory experience.

• Significant experience advising C-level executives and providing consultations on enterprise architecture and ERP roadmaps.

• Comprehensive knowledge of ERP modules, implementation, deployment, and functionalities, including Oracle E-Business Suite, SAP ECC, and S/4HANA.

• Familiarity with ERP deployment models, both on-premise and cloud, including IaaS and SaaS strategies.

• Strong grasp of cybersecurity concepts and solutions relevant to ERP workloads.

• Proficiency in Java, operating systems, storage, cloud technologies, data migration, integration, and AI.

• More than 5 years of public speaking and thought leadership experience.

• Demonstrated experience in public speaking, media interactions, and content publication.

• Capability to convey complex technical concepts to varied audiences.

• Experience in creating thought leadership content and engaging audiences through educational materials.

• Excellent communication skills in the local regional language as well as English.

• Willingness to travel both regionally and internationally as required.

• Established relationships with CIO-level executives in the region.

• More than 5 years in a CIO role or similar position, with a proven record of successful ERP implementations and IT transformations.

• Knowledge of SaaS solutions including SAP RISE, Oracle Fusion, and Salesforce.

• Over 5 years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, along with workload migration methodologies.

• Insight into industry trends, emerging technologies, and AI solutions relating to ERP and enterprise data.

• Articulate and composed, with strong public presentation abilities.

• Proactive, innovative, and forward-thinking mindset.

• Ability to effectively address objections and concerns regarding third-party support services.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is preferred.

• MS/MBA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

• Capable of working in the North America Pacific or Mountain time zone, U.S.
