This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Design and execute the regional sourcing strategy for elevator doors and fabricated mechanical parts.
• Provide leadership at the regional level for strategic sourcing efforts to enhance business value and competitiveness.
• Meet annual productivity goals by optimizing the supply chain and encouraging competitive dynamics.
• Offer operational support to manufacturing and field sites for all door and fabricated component requirements.
• Track and enhance supplier On-Time Delivery performance.
• Oversee price adjustments and ensure adherence to procurement system compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Otis procurement policies and procedures.
• Assist in resolving supplier-related issues such as delivery delays, quality discrepancies, and logistical hurdles.
• Lead initiatives focused on cost reduction, standardization, and efficiency improvements.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and pricing using a data-driven approach.
• Manage the regional supply chain, driving continuous enhancements in cost, quality, delivery, and innovation.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate supplier risks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to align on technical specifications.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or purchasing; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Over 8 years of experience in procurement, category management, and team leadership.
• Experience in global, matrixed, industrial organizations is preferred.
• Strong skills in negotiation and contract management.
• Proficient in Excel, procurement systems (JD Edwards, SAP, EDI), and cost modeling techniques.
• Capable of influencing and collaborating across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; experience in multicultural settings.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within the NAA region.
