• Provides strategic and regional leadership for sales operations within the ECP channel.
• Responsible for meeting sales targets within the designated territory/region of the optometry marketplace.
• Thinks strategically, acts regionally, and drives results that benefit the company, the region, and Business Development Representatives and sales agents.
• 7+ years of experience in a successful business-to-business sales environment, ideally in Rx sales, optical, medical device, or retail operations within Fortune 500 companies.
• At least 2 years of prior management experience and/or 2+ years as a Business Development Representative.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
• Licensed optician is preferred.
• Strong sales orientation with the capacity to advance key opportunities through the sales cycle, providing detailed and accurate sales forecasts using Salesforce.com.
• Ability to excel in a competitive environment.
• Proven track record in devising plans to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
• Effective consultative, conceptual, and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build influential relationships with customers.
• Capable of working with contracts and legal documents.
• Disciplined, results-oriented sales approach with strong time management abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to function as a team player and collaborate effectively with others.
• Ability to influence situations and individuals.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.
• Proven leadership ability to direct, coach, and motivate staff.
• Understanding of client business dynamics and financials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills required.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems is preferred.
• Must possess a car.
