• Collaborate with various teams within your area of responsibility (AOR) to develop and implement strategies aimed at expanding the customer base and meeting regional objectives. Teams may include, but are not limited to, Market Development, Origination, Project Development, and Legal.
• Engage in cold calling or warm outreach, utilizing innovative thinking to create new and distinctive sales tactics.
• Follow up on qualified leads and opportunities within the pipeline.
• Research potential opportunities, generate qualified leads, foster relationships, maintain accurate and detailed records, and develop a continuously growing customer base.
• Keep comprehensive knowledge of the company and its products, as well as ongoing research into industry and market trends.
• Manage sales activities in your AOR, dedicating approximately 50% of your time to travel within the assigned region.
• If eligible based on your performance or region, you may be tasked with overseeing a Fleet Advisor, an inside role focused on your AOR.
• Establish and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Use our CRM software(s) to ensure that all sales processes, steps, and progress are recorded in accordance with our standard procedures for every sales stage.
• Required B2B sales experience, with a preference for experience selling to school districts.
• Proven ability to prospect, engage, and successfully close complex deals.
• A team player who enhances group dynamics.
• Experience working with school districts, school bus dealers, and/or within the EV charging sector is advantageous and preferred.
• Must be disciplined, self-motivated, and capable of problem-solving while building relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to organize daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedules along with travel planning.
• Capacity to exercise sound judgment and make informed decisions.
• Ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Proven capability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing demands from various sources.
• Effective operation in a start-up environment with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets, OKRs, and KPIs.
• Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, and comfortable utilizing various CRM systems.
• Interest in or prior knowledge of electric vehicles (BEVs) and/or clean transportation.
• Existing connections with school bus dealers and school districts are a plus.
