This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Achieves sales and pricing targets by driving results in terms of contribution margin, volume, differential pricing, quality, and services for designated customers.
• Collaborates with customers across various industries to actively create color matches and masterbatch projects, ensuring a high conversion rate to meet sales goals.
• Cultivates and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, both externally with customers and internally with Sales, Business & Product Management, Color lab, TS, CS, and credit, establishing strong connections.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures, proactively embodying them in daily activities.
• Regularly monitors DSO and guarantees timely resolution of customer claims.
• Boosts sales by promoting targeted products/applications and innovations, while identifying and capturing cross-selling opportunities and developing new customer relationships.
• Provides consistent updates on market intelligence and competitive dynamics to the business in the designated area.
• Ensures consistent and effective implementation of the business strategy at the customer level and offers recommendations for potential enhancements.
• Guarantees that value propositions of the represented market segments resonate with the customer.
• Promotes operational excellence in S&OP (forecasting) and Pricing Management.
• Proficiently resolves customer issues and inquiries.
• Regularly reports on key performance indicators (KPI’s).
• Maintains the CRM (Salesforce) with the most current information regarding Accounts, DMU, Account Plans, Financial data, etc.
• Identifies and develops new customers with masterbatch requirements.
• Willing to travel up to 60% of the time.
• Reports to the Sales Team Lead for the North-South or East region.
• Preferred university or college degree in sciences or engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the plastics industry.
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Office Word/Excel, SAP R/3, and Salesforce.
• Valid driving license.
• Proficiency in Polish and English languages.
• Strong negotiating skills, capable of effectively navigating challenging situations with both internal and external groups.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills – able to convey information simply, clearly articulating key messages and engaging the audience.
• Product and technical knowledge – seeks opportunities to continuously learn about LYB products and services to articulate a compelling value proposition for the partner entity.
