This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Achieve or surpass all assigned quotas and objectives while accurately forecasting weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenues for the designated account set and overall territory.
• Meet or exceed the necessary number of face-to-face meetings each month with clients and partners in the territory to uncover new opportunities and enhance existing ones.
• Actively participate in all team initiatives for enablement, forecasting, partner updates, sales efforts, and recognition.
• Generate and monitor sales opportunities (leads, renewals, deal registrations, and quotes in Salesforce.com).
• Address any customer satisfaction concerns and/or requests promptly.
• Drive sales cycles to completion while establishing relationships and credibility, and offer essential presales support for prospects and customers.
• Collaborate closely with your local Channel Account Manager (CAM) and our reseller partner network to drive deals, boost revenue, and support the success of channel partners in the SLED segment.
• Follow up on incoming leads from the web and corporate events.
• Engage in inbound and outbound prospecting activities to identify new sales opportunities.
• Meet and exceed sales activity metrics designed to enhance productivity and success.
• Lead customer presentations and demonstrations using online tools (GO TO MEETING).
• Conduct ongoing analysis and report on supported opportunities.
• Serve as a liaison between partners, customers, and appropriate Fortinet team members.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support the growth of our business.
• Execute the role with the highest level of professionalism in alignment with Fortinet’s core values.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Coachable and adaptable.
• 1+ years of field sales experience in the B2B technology sector.
• Familiarity with the businesses and partners in the local territory.
• Ability to conduct productive customer-facing and partner-facing meetings while providing timely and relevant written follow-ups.
• A proven history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and objectives.
• Understanding of the sales cycle in relation to business processes both internally and externally.
• Capability to manage and drive sales cycles from inception to conclusion, including experience with managing and forecasting individual quotas.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing a diverse, high-volume workload.
• Ability to quickly establish productive relationships in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Proficient with computers.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Well-organized with effective time and activity management abilities.
• Ability to leverage entrepreneurial strengths in a proactive, forward-thinking manner.
• Ability to close business while maintaining a high level of customer and partner satisfaction.

• The Regional Account Manager is expected to spend over 50% of their time outside of their office or home office engaged in selling, including necessary travel to finalize sales.
