This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Accountable for overseeing key Long Term Care (LTC) accounts at both the Regional and National levels within the designated area.
• Manages essential regional and national LTC accounts, including Regional LTC Pharmacy Providers, Regional Skilled Nursing Corporate Offices, Regional & National Associations, and LTC accounts within Integrated Health Systems Providers in the assigned territory.
• Tasked with generating vital customer insights and pinpointing marketplace needs to enhance access, boost education regarding PDP diagnosis and treatment, and foster a consistent strategy for engaging with key Long-Term Care (LTC) clients.
• Responsible for mobilizing resources to forge lasting relationships with key LTC customers while balancing immediate and long-term corporate objectives.
• Demonstrates precise clinical knowledge of products and disease states during interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborates with the sales team, Managed Markets, Market Development Managers, Medical, and internal partners to formulate strategies for LTC accounts.
• Develops and executes a business plan tailored to their LTC geography.
• Identifies crucial influencers and stakeholders.
• Cultivates relationships that enhance ACADIA's reputation as a trusted and valued partner.
• Delivers engaging, high-level presentations to key account stakeholders at regional and national levels.
• Initiates and leads pull-through opportunities/projects in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Crafts and implements collaboration plans with internal stakeholders across Institutional and office-based teams.
• Provides support and guidance to LTC Sales team members regarding regional LTC accounts.
• Serves as a liaison to various stakeholders, including Sales Leadership, Managed Markets, Marketing, and Medical Affairs, to synchronize the overall LTC strategy for major national accounts.
• Participates in and contributes to Regional calls and meetings as appropriate.
• Aids the LTC teams in developing strategic business plans for each assigned account, ensuring comprehensive account knowledge that yields results focused on product and ACADIA team access.
• Establishes work standards that reflect ACADIA's corporate culture, vision, and values.
• Complies with all regulatory and promotional guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, healthcare, life sciences, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience is required.
• At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in sales, account management, and/or marketing within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is required, with preference given to those with CNS experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Long Term Care setting/channel and in a field-based role is essential.
• Experience in engaging and building relationships with KOLs, Centers of Excellence (COE), or complex integrated health systems is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Fellowship and advocacy programs is strongly desired.
• Requires exceptional matrix management skills, both internally and externally with the client base.
• Must maintain good standing with the FDA.
