This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• In the role of Regional Account Manager, you will act as the regional business owner, concentrating on enhancing healthcare professional (HCP) knowledge and comprehension of the marketed Mirum product.
• You will identify and cultivate robust relationships with key thought leaders and customers, showcasing your ability to allocate the necessary time and resources to engage HCPs and foster advocacy.
• An entrepreneurial mindset is essential, with a commitment to ownership and accountability to achieve or surpass both individual and company objectives.
• You will stay informed about healthcare trends within the Rare Disease community and implement strategies to address account access challenges.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities are required to maximize growth, including the capacity to evaluate business data and create strategic, actionable business plans.
• You will exemplify and promote Mirum’s values of compliance, integrity, and transparency.
• Development and maintenance of robust partnerships across commercial, compliance, and medical affairs functions will be vital.
• You will drive change through influence and innovative approaches.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive business experience in the healthcare or biotech sectors, including at least 3 years of field-based account management, sales, and field reimbursement experience.
• Proven success with biotech or pharmaceutical product launches.
• Experience in rare or niche markets with a documented history of surpassing goals.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• Strong business relationships in the GI/hepatology sector are highly desired.
• Experience with pediatric populations is welcomed.
• Familiarity with competitive market landscapes is preferred.
• Proven experience engaging with Hospitals, Academic Institutions, and clinics, particularly in relation to interdisciplinary care teams.
• A record of researching and resolving complex issues affecting HCPs while alleviating barriers to patient access to care is essential.
• Demonstrated success through teamwork and execution is crucial.
• A history of compliance with all regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, is expected.
• High ethical and performance standards must be upheld in all business interactions.
• Approximately 60% travel is required, including overnight trips as necessary.
• Availability for some travel and attendance during evenings and weekends for regional and national meetings, conferences, and advocacy support events is necessary.
