This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Serve as a representative for Catalyst Pharmaceuticals products to medical professionals focused on the treatment of Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Comprehend and implement the marketing strategy, clearly conveying the brand’s value proposition.
• Utilize only on-label and Regulatory/Compliance-approved marketing materials.
• Assess local and regional business and managed-market trends to formulate both short- and long-term objectives and a successful business plan.
• Collaborate in a matrix environment that includes patient support services, specialty pharmacies, Marketing, Managed Care, Corporate Communications, and Medical Affairs.
• Engage with targeted healthcare professionals and their teams in the assigned territory for disease awareness and product promotion.
• Provide consultative, science-based information to assist healthcare providers in making treatment decisions.
• Facilitate patient identification initiatives.
• Administer the territory budget in accordance with company policies.
• Accurately and promptly document account profiles in the CRM system.
• Participate in local or national patient advocacy events as needed, which may occur during evenings or weekends, up to 8 times per year.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or healthcare is preferred.
• At least 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales or related experience is required.
• Experience in Neurology or the Rare/Orphan market is preferred.
• Recent experience with biopharmaceutical launches within the last 3–5 years is preferred.
• Ability to consistently access healthcare providers in community and academic settings.
• Capability to cultivate strong, professional relationships for scientific exchange and promotion with healthcare providers.
• Experience selling a product that necessitates extensive coordination with patient access services.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational skills are required.
• Willingness to travel routinely within the assigned territory.
• 60% overnight travel is mandatory.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Availability to travel on weekends for work conferences may be necessary.
• Ideal candidates should reside in Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, or Richmond, VA, with access to airports in these areas.
