This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders in both current and prospective Nordson Medical clients within the designated region.
• Work closely with various functions to achieve the strategic objectives outlined in the Nordson Medical Strategic plan.
• Achieve annual booking targets that drive revenue growth and align with strategic goals within the territory.
• Responsible for delivering revenue growth through direct engagement with targeted accounts, markets, and applications.
• Identify potential leads and manage prospective customers and opportunities within the CRM system.
• Actively oversee the CRM lead database to ensure timely follow-ups and transitions from lead to opportunity.
• Articulate the value proposition and collaborate with Product teams and Marketing to create essential tools for sales efficiency in the assigned region.
• Evaluate all potential customer opportunities within targeted sectors and prioritize resource allocation based on the overall size of the opportunity, attractiveness, suitability, and time to revenue.
• Convey the NMIS value proposition for products and services while serving as a trusted advisor to the customer base.
• Establish and maintain significant customer relationships as a commercial leader, leading communication efforts between accounts and NMIS, and scheduling necessary recurring calls, business reviews, and face-to-face meetings to manage and grow existing business.
• Oversee the commercial processes from lead identification, territory call planning, to quote requests.
• Develop and manage a Regional Account Plan using a template that includes target customers and action plans to support the growth of the regional base for both existing and prospective accounts.
• Collaborate with the global sales/account management organization and development teams to share market and customer insights.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, or business.
• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in sales to OEMs and Contract Manufacturers within the medical device sector.
