Regional Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Drive business performance within a strategically vital North West territory by establishing strong partnerships with key stakeholders in thoracic oncology.

• Convert national brand strategies into effective local implementations, develop account plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the appropriate and compliant use of our lung cancer portfolio while enhancing patient outcomes.

• Take ownership of the North West territory business, creating and maintaining comprehensive account and territory plans for priority accounts.

• Gain insights into local lung cancer pathways, stakeholder networks, access challenges, and potential opportunities.

• Provide high-quality, compliant engagement with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.

• Enhance sales performance through effective account management, prioritization, and execution.

• Identify opportunities to bolster local advocacy in alignment with brand strategy and compliance requirements.

• Collaborate with medical, market access, marketing, healthcare solutions, and leadership teams to overcome barriers and maximize opportunities.

• Utilize CRM, Veeva, and account planning tools to monitor activities, manage commitments, and support business decisions.

• Share customer and market insights to guide strategy, improve execution, and enhance patient impact.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales success within secondary care or specialist medicines.

• Expertise in thoracic oncology or lung cancer is preferred but not essential.

• Solid understanding of NHS pathways and local healthcare systems.

• Ability to establish credible relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

• Proficient in account planning, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.

• Strong commercial acumen, analytical abilities, and an execution-focused mindset, along with being commercially minded, organized, results-oriented, and proactive in recognizing opportunities.

• Collaborative approach with experience in cross-functional teamwork.

• ABPI qualified (or willing to obtain certification within the required timeframe).

• Possess a full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the territory.

• Comfortable managing a large territory and translating insights into actionable strategies.
