
Regional Account Executive – Specialty, Central/Eastern PA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• The RAE focuses on adult specialty segments, introducing and securing new business while expanding existing business for GeneDx.
• This role is achieved through partnership and problem-solving with adult specialty call points in the designated territory, utilizing consultative selling, education, and acting as the primary account manager for physicians and their staff.
• Responsible for lead generation within the assigned territory, as well as ensuring physician and staff satisfaction with GeneDx's programs and services, along with the coordination of sales and service activities among GeneDx team members.
• Works in conjunction with operations to guarantee consistent follow-up and prompt resolution of issues.
• Executes established sales and marketing plans and actively participates in development events such as physician dinners and special gatherings.
• Actively manages a physician development pipeline to prospect and establish new physician relationships, clearly communicating and illustrating value propositions.
• Consultatively promotes GeneDx services, identifies customer needs and requirements, and makes recommendations to physicians and their staff regarding the various solutions GeneDx can provide.
• Conducts in-person client meetings alongside virtual meetings, with an expectation of 4.5 days per week in the field.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• A Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field is considered a plus.
• A minimum of 2 years in healthcare sales, preferably within a physician sales/services environment, or 2+ years of experience as a genetic counselor.
• Preferred experience in neurology, immunology, rheumatology, and/or other specialty segments within the adult setting.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to promote multiple service offerings and business opportunities simultaneously.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• A history of integrity and adherence to professional ethics.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player to ensure quality patient care, whether directly or indirectly.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Capable of managing challenging situations and interactions effectively.
• Ability to work independently while successfully managing time and territory activities.
