
Regional Account Executive – General Pediatrics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Propel territory expansion by identifying, nurturing, and finalizing new business opportunities while strengthening connections with existing General Pediatrician accounts.
• Act as the primary account management liaison for healthcare providers, including general pediatricians, mid-level practitioners, and their support staff.
• Provide customized, consultative sales presentations to convey the advantages of GeneDx’s solutions and services tailored for the pediatric demographic.
• Organize and conduct both in-person and virtual meetings with clients.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding, effective service delivery, and prompt resolution of customer concerns.
• Spearhead educational initiatives within the territory, which include planning and executing in-office appointments, regional conference events, physician lunches/dinners, and other engagement activities.
• Stay updated on clinical genomics advancements, pediatric testing protocols, product offerings, and the competitive landscape to effectively position GeneDx.
• Maintain a strong field presence, with a commitment to spending 4.5 days per week engaging with clients in the field.
• Achieve or surpass assigned sales goals, KPIs, and activity metrics.
• Record customer opportunities, interactions, and updates in CRM and other business systems as necessary; maintain a targeted clinician development pipeline.
• Actively embody and promote GeneDx's cultural principles: be adaptable to change; communicate directly with empathy; honor commitments; pursue bold visions and execute bravely; operate with a proactive mindset.
• Exhibit accountability and a robust work ethic, fostering a team-oriented spirit.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years in healthcare sales, ideally within a physician sales/services context, or 2 years as a genetic counselor.
• Strong preference for experience in selling to general pediatric practices.
• Demonstrate a strong technical aptitude and the ability to promote various service offerings while managing multiple business opportunities simultaneously.
• A valid driver’s license is essential.
• Capability to work independently and effectively manage time and territorial responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
