This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Build and nurture new and existing relationships across various sectors within the electrical industry globally.
• Comprehend client needs, identifying growth opportunities while formulating strategies to deliver value and enhance revenue.
• Create plans and strategies aimed at business development and achieving the company's sales objectives.
• Foster a culture of success and continuous business achievement to ensure profitable growth.
• Manage customer expectations and contribute to maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Provide thorough and accurate sales forecasts.
• Gather and compile information and data concerning customer and prospect interactions.
• Observe customer, market, and competitor activities, providing insights to the company leadership team and other departments.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to establish effective support, channel, and partner programs.
• Manage critical customer relationships and engage in closing strategic opportunities.
• Travel for face-to-face meetings with customers and partners to cultivate essential relationships.
• Significant technical sales experience, preferably in the Electrical Engineering or Critical Power sectors.
• Other technical backgrounds such as UPS, Generator sales, or cooling industry experience will also be considered.
• Proven capability to manage and develop key accounts, convert leads, and sell technical products.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and experience collaborating with design and estimating teams.
• Knowledge of Switchgear is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts while generating new business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative, enthusiastic, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Confident under pressure and capable of managing multifaceted objectives.
