This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Oversee the development, coaching, performance management, and daily operations of a geographically dispersed team of Field Access Managers.
β’ Direct field reimbursement initiatives within the designated region to meet patient access goals.
β’ Monitor field activities to identify market opportunities and access challenges, and create actionable regional strategies.
β’ Act as the first-line manager for Field Access Managers, offering guidance, prioritization, coaching, and accountability.
β’ Conduct field visits, participate in ride-alongs, engage in coaching discussions, and perform performance evaluations.
β’ Foster a high-performing field team by identifying skill gaps, developing training plans, sharing best practices, and promoting continuous learning.
β’ Maintain a strong technical knowledge of products, policies, and business issues.
β’ Plan and facilitate plan-of-action meetings and other engagements with corporate leadership.
β’ Ensure adherence to relevant laws, policies, and processes.
β’ Provide guidance and insights to internal partners for business planning purposes.
β’ Collaborate with training, analytics, compliance, HUB operations, client stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
β’ Mentor, coach, and develop both direct and indirect team members.
β’ Create personalized development plans with measurable objectives and regular progress tracking.
β’ Transform business priorities, regional access insights, and performance metrics into coaching approaches and team operating rhythms.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree is required.
β’ A minimum of 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on payer policy and product access.
β’ At least 7 years of experience in benefit verifications and/or prior authorization processes, or equivalent experience in patient access.
β’ Over 3 years of experience leading successful field access/reimbursement teams, including coaching, developing, and managing the performance of field-based staff.
β’ In-depth understanding of pharmacy and medical benefit product models.
β’ Familiarity with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) policies and processes, particularly regarding Medicare Parts B & D coverage.
β’ Knowledge of specialty markets, HUB/reimbursement services, and patient access programs.
β’ Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate market dynamics, competitor activities, and continuous diabetes monitoring trends.
β’ Proficient in gathering and interpreting data to inform regional strategies, including HUB and patient claims data.
β’ Skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and videoconferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, GoTo Meeting).
β’ An advanced degree is preferred.
β’ Experience in Pediatric Endocrinology and/or Endocrinology is preferred.
β’ Previous experience in Access/Reimbursement leadership roles during product launches.
β’ Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in areas such as product marketing, managed care, field sales, case management, or large healthcare practices is an advantage.
