This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Formulate and execute a detailed sales strategy for the Grocery channel aimed at achieving revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
• Recognize and prioritize market opportunities, allocating resources to maximize impact and return on investment.
• Lead the development and implementation of promotional strategies and initiatives specifically designed for the Grocery sector.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with key Grocery clients, encompassing both national and regional chains in Conventional and Natural categories.
• Collaborate with account teams to provide customized solutions that cater to customer requirements and drive shared growth.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to obtain favorable terms while cultivating long-term partnerships.
• Examine market trends, customer data, and competitive activities to pinpoint growth opportunities and enhance sales strategies.
• Track performance metrics and modify tactics as necessary to ensure the attainment of sales and profitability objectives.
• Stay updated on industry innovations and Grocery consumer behavior to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Exhibit the ability to manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure Grocery strategies align with overall business goals.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 3-5 years of sales experience, particularly within the Grocery channel in the CPG industry.
• Demonstrated capability to build and implement successful sales strategies in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Outstanding leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in TPM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
• Willingness to travel as required.
