This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Formulate and execute a detailed sales strategy for the Grocery channel to meet revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
• Identify and assess market opportunities, strategically allocating resources to optimize impact and return on investment.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of promotional strategies and programs specifically designed for the Grocery sector.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key Grocery clients, including both national and regional chains across Conventional and Natural segments.
• Collaborate with account teams to provide customized solutions that fulfill customer requirements and promote mutual growth.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure advantageous terms while nurturing long-term partnerships.
• Evaluate market trends, customer data, and competitive activities to pinpoint growth prospects and enhance sales strategies.
• Track performance metrics and modify strategies to ensure sales and profitability targets are met.
• Keep abreast of industry innovations and Grocery consumer behaviors to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Oversee and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align Grocery strategies with broader business goals.
• Provide market insights that guide product innovation and ensure alignment with customer and consumer requirements.
• Present regular updates to senior leadership regarding sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• 3-5 years of sales experience, particularly within the Grocery channel of the CPG industry.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in TPM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
• Availability to travel as required.
