Referral Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee a country-specific network of referring physicians across diverse therapeutic areas.

• Facilitate a seamless and efficient referral process between referring physicians and study investigators.

• Identify and select appropriate physicians for the network.

• Offer training and ongoing support to physicians throughout the referral process.

• Organize and conduct regular visits to referring physicians, either in person or via video conferencing.

• Record key discussions and objectives in detailed reports.

• Provide continuous support to referring physicians and their teams.

• Ensure that agreed-upon tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.

• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and Legal departments to implement the referral process across various projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Proven experience in the clinical research industry.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA).

• Required experience in communicating with physicians and/or investigators.

• Experience in Oncology and/or Gastroenterology is advantageous.

• Willingness and capability to travel frequently as necessary.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proficient in PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Must reside in either the Chicago, Illinois area or the Los Angeles, California area.

• Must not require a work visa for employment or for continued employment now or at any time in the future.
